Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid forklift competency certificate or licence.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution operations.
• Proven experience in operating forklift safely and efficiently.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Able to read and understand basic warehouse documentation.
• Able to communicate via email correspondence.
• Able to use Microsoft Office.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling, lifting and other warehouse-related activities when required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse activities including vehicle receiving and inspection, storing vehicles in dedicated zones.
• Operate forklift safely for vehicle movement (load/unload, transfer to storage).
• Perform daily pre-use forklift inspections and report defects.
• Check incoming/outgoing vehicles against documents.
• Ensure vehicles are properly stored to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain accurate records and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety regulations and SOPs at all times.
• Report deterioration or discrepancies involving assets and vehicles to supervisor.
• Assist with warehouse housekeeping and keep areas clean and safe.
• Collaborate with logistics team to optimise workflow and efficiency.
• Perform routine care and maintenance of forklift and keep it in good condition.
