Job summary

Siti Khadijah Apparel Sdn Bhd seeks a Visual Merchandising Manager to oversee store aesthetics, drive eye-catching displays and optimize layout across fashion retail outlets. The role focuses on maximizing sales and increasing footfall through strategic window and interior displays.

The candidate should have 4–6 years of VM experience, strong brand discipline, and the ability to manage suppliers, budgets and timelines while traveling to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Retail Design, or related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in fashion retail.
• Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization.
• Good understanding of retail store layout, fixtures, props and promotional displays.
• Creative with a strong eye for detail, aesthetics and brand consistency.
• Strong project coordination with experience managing suppliers, budgets and timelines.
• Willing to travel/outstation and conduct regular store visits.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for store display & floor set changes and rotation in accordance to brand themes such as season changes, events, product launches or promotions.
• Develop & implement the company’s visual merchandising directives, guidelines & trainings for retail boutiques.
• Assist in designing and conceptualizing promotional materials to support Marketing and Merchandising while complying with brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers/internal teams for materials, fixtures, props, POP/POSM and other items for stores/promotions/events and ensure timely, cost-effective implementation.
• Monitor costs and annual budget within set limits.
• Study consumer lifestyle, demographics, design and competitor trends to aid decision making.
• Partner with Store Design on layout and function of new stores/remodels and category initiatives.
• Control quality of VM implementation via market visits and photo analysis.
