Job summary

YO HR Consultancy is seeking a Senior Video Editing Quality Assurance Specialist for a global, fully remote contractor role. You will review AI-generated and human-edited video content, ensuring professional post-production quality and technical accuracy.

Portfolio is mandatory. Candidates should have 5+ years in video editing across film/TV/advertising, be fluent in English (C1–C2), and provide precise written feedback on edits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience across film/TV/advertising/digital media.
• Proficient in at least two non-linear editors, with Premiere Pro & DaVinci Resolve preferred.
• Portfolio or reel accessible to the team is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate video editing quality for pacing, continuity, transitions and storytelling.
• Identify frame-rate, codec, color and synchronization issues and document fixes.
• Compare AI-generated vs human-edited outputs to ensure consistency.
• Create expert-level QA scenarios and structured feedback for training data.
• Ensure adherence to briefs, style guides, and project rubrics.
• Provide clear, professional feedback using editing terminology.
• Support calibration of evaluation standards across editors and reviewers.
• Maintain high production quality in an hourly, remote contractor setup.
