Job summary

Mister Mobile is seeking a hands-on Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer (Remote) to produce video and motion content daily across social, campaigns, retail, and digital touchpoints, using generative AI as a core part of creation. You will source footage, build efficient workflows, and deliver end-to-end from brief to final export.

You should be comfortable moving between an AI generated product video, a TikTok edit built from sourced footage, an animated launch visual, and an in store screen

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Film, Multimedia, Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in video editing and motion graphics, with at least some of it in a brand, in house, agency, or retail focused environment.
• Strong, proven skills in generative AI video and image tools, with a portfolio that shows AI assisted or AI generated work, and a clear point of view on where AI helps and where it does not.
• Resourceful in sourcing raw footage, with good knowledge of stock platforms and an understanding of usage rights and licensing.
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience with CapCut or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma, with a good eye for typography, colour, and layout.
• Strong understanding of short form video, including hooks, pacing, platform formats, and what makes content perform.
• Highly independent and self managed, able to plan your own workload, run multiple live jobs, and deliver on time with minimal supervision in a remote setup.
• Basic video shooting skills are a bonus but not required.
• A strong showreel and portfolio covering video editing, motion graphics, and AI generated content.

Responsibilities

• Use generative AI tools as the core of the production workflow, including AI video generation, image generation, voiceover, music, upscaling, background extension, auto captioning, and versioning, while keeping output on brand and publish ready.
• Stay ahead of new AI video and design tools, test them quickly, and bring the ones that work into the team’s workflow.
• Source raw footage independently from stock libraries, brand and manufacturer assets, partner content, in store footage, and UGC, making sure all usage rights and licensing are in order.
• Edit short form and long form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and YouTube, covering cutting, pacing, colour grading, sound design, audio cleanup, and subtitles.
• Create motion graphics, animated typography, product animations, logo reveals, and transitions for campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
• Turn briefs, scripts, and product information into strong visual stories with clear hooks that drive engagement and sales.
• Produce video and motion content for the in store experience across all outlets, including digital signage, kiosk screens, and promotional displays, delivered in the correct formats and aspect ratios.
• Build and run an efficient production workflow, including templates, presets, file naming, version control, and an organised video and asset library, so content can be turned around quickly and consistently.
• Support with graphic design when needed, including social posts, thumbnails, banners, and EDM visuals, in line with brand guidelines.
• Shoot simple footage when required, such as product close ups or store content using a phone or basic camera setup.
• Partner with the marketing, e-commerce, and retail operations teams to translate business goals into strong video and motion creative.
