Allianz Partners is seeking an experienced travel underwriting remediation specialist to lead performance analyses across global portfolios, beginning with the United Kingdom market. You will identify drivers of deterioration, propose corrective actions, and work with Pricing, Actuarial and Claims to ensure rate adequacy and profitability.
The role requires 8+ years in insurance data analysis, a relevant degree, and strong SQL, Power BI and Excel skills.
Reporting to the Head of Travel Underwriting for European Hub, you will be responsible for leading portfolio remediation efforts across the global travel insurance book, with an immediate focus on the United Kingdom. This role drives technical underwriting excellence through deep-dive performance analysis at both client and portfolio level, identifying root causes of deterioration and implementing corrective action to ensure rate adequacy and sustainability. The role partners closely with Pricing, Actuarial, Claims, and Distribution to execute targeted remediation strategies aligned with the Travel Line of Business strategy. Ensures all underwriting actions are technically sound, commercially relevant, and fully compliant with Allianz and AzP standards.
