The candidate will develop and execute test plans, lead testing efforts, document defects, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality IT systems throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficient in software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience with manual system testing.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software applications and IT systems.
• Act as the test lead and engage in communication with internal and external parties.
• Brief testers on the test scenarios and testing details.
• Monitor testing progress and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and document software defects and issues.
• Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and improve system performance.
• Conduct manual system testing as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in the design and implementation of testing processes and procedures.
• Maintain and update testing documentation.
