Job summary

Air Liquide Maritime Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Turbo Expander Skid Design Engineer to lead the design, packaging, and integration of turbo expander skid systems for offshore and maritime projects. You will drive mechanical layouts, perform structural and thermal calculations, review vendor proposals, and ensure compliance with API/ASME standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with at least 13+ years in design of high-speed rotating equipment.
• Experience delivering modular skid packages from concept to fabrication.
• Knowledge of API 617, API 614, ASME B31.3 and ASME VIII standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete skid layouts for turbo expanders including piping, lube oil systems and seal gas consoles.
• Perform structural, thermal and fatigue calculations for transit and seismic loads.
• Review vendor proposals and perform FAT/testing support with cross-functional teams.
• Drive standardization of mechanical layouts and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
