A reputable travel agency in Penang seeks a Travel Counselor to manage client inquiries and bookings. Responsibilities include planning itineraries, issuing tickets, and resolving customer complaints. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or a related field and 3 years of experience in the travel industry. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years work experience in Travel/Airlines/Hotel.
• 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a travel industry.
• Excellent knowledge of reservations systems (GDS), IATA rules and faring.

Responsibilities

• Handle and track all phone, e-mail & walk-in inquiries.
• Plan itineraries, make reservations, issue tickets.
• Provide clients with visa information.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management or related field
