Job summary

Bruker is seeking a skilled technician to join our manufacturing/test team in Penang, Malaysia. You will integrate, test, calibrate, and rework Bruker systems and accessories to meet customer specifications, collaborating with Mfg Engineers and R&D to enhance quality and reliability.

The role requires hands-on ability with optical, mechanical, and electrical systems, strong problem-solving, and the capacity to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot optical, mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration and communication.
• Basic computer skills and technical aptitude.
• Able to lift ~50 lbs (22 kg).

Responsibilities

• Integrate, testing, calibration, and rework of products to ensure on-time completion of customer orders.
• Assembly of electro-mechanical components and devices under general supervision.
• Analyze results, evaluate system-level functionality, and make corrections to meet requirements.
• Support and/or implementation of functional test methodology at the systems-level.
• Maintain test plans and generate test reports with support teams.
• Make recommendations to improve product performance, quality and reliability.
• Resolve system-level failures and production challenges.
• Addtitional responsibilities as assigned.
