Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is seeking a test engineering professional to lead LED/microLED test development and data-driven quality improvements.

You will own test platforms (Advantest, NI PXI) and use Python, MATLAB, and Databricks to analyze results, drive root-cause investigations, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

This role requires 3–5 years in semiconductor testing, strong English communication, and a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Lead development of LED and microLED test methods for IC drivers.
• Drive test handling and process development for new products, including setup and release.
• Perform data-driven failure analysis and root-cause investigations from testing and production data.
• Develop automated data analysis tools using Python, Databricks and MATLAB to monitor quality.
• Coordinate bench tests and act as a technical expert in cross-functional FAR teams.
• Drive continuous improvements and define test equipment roadmaps aligned with product plans.
