Rohde & Schwarz Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Senior Test Application Development Engineer to design and develop robust hardware and software testing solutions for production lines.

You will lead test-system development from concept to implementation, ensuring reliability and efficiency. You will create automated test applications using Python, C#, C/C++, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with production, R&D, and external suppliers to meet manufacturing needs while maintaining quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in test development for PCBA or complex electronic products.
• Strong electronics background with ability to make complex technical decisions.
• Hands-on experience with test-automation tools: Python, C/C++, C#.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Independent, self-motivated, and results-driven with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware and software test solutions for production.
• Create and maintain automated test applications using Python, C#, C/C++.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with production, R&D, global test engineering, and external suppliers.
• Validate test systems for stable, safe, and error-free operation in production.
• Support manufacturing issues and ensure test package reliability.
• Lead small development projects including task breakdown, scheduling, and reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and review test concepts and software for quality.
