Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Test Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of its software products. You will work with product owners, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to design and execute comprehensive test plans and to resolve UAT issues.

Your role includes analysis of user stories, planning and execution of tests, defect reporting with JIRA, and automation to enhance efficiency across regression cycles.

Responsibilities

• Story Analysis: Work closely with product owners and business analysts to thoroughly understand the user stories.
• Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases.
• Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA / bug tracking tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers throughout the UAT process, particular on defect follow-up and resolution.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
