CLLS Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Technician to support manufacturing and engineering operations. You will handle equipment assembly, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance, while guiding junior technicians and production staff.

You will collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on problem solving, and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, electrical or mechanical assembly, fabrication, testing, or equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Practical experience in assembly, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, and fault-finding skills.
• Able to work independently, guide junior technicians, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with diesel generator systems, control panels, or industrial equipment will be an added advantage.

Are you a hands-on technician with strong technical skills and experience in electrical or mechanical assembly? CLLS Engineering is looking for a responsible and experienced Senior Technician to support our manufacturing and engineering operations.

In this role, you will be involved in equipment assembly, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance while providing technical guidance to technicians and production personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and supervise the assembly, wiring, installation, and fitting of electrical and mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Support the assembly of diesel generators, enclosures, control panels, and related equipment.

Conduct functional testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and rectification of technical issues.

Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), equipment commissioning, and project-related technical activities.

Coordinate with Engineering, Production, QA/QC, and Project teams to ensure work meets quality standards and project schedules.

Inspect completed work, identify defects, and carry out corrective actions to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

Guide junior technicians and production workers, provide on-the-job training, and promote good workmanship.

Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of tools, machinery, and testing equipment.

Maintain accurate testing records, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.

Follow company safety procedures and identify opportunities to improve work efficiency, product quality, and production processes.

Requirements

Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, electrical or mechanical assembly, fabrication, testing, or equipment maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
