Job summary

Reeracoen (Malaysia) seeks a Senior Technical Sales Engineer (or Senior Project Engineer) to join its Kuala Lumpur team, bridging technical engineering with strategic client relationships. The role focuses on understanding complex plant utilities and gas piping needs, developing tailor-made proposals, and guiding projects from concept to commissioning.

You will conduct site visits, engage with EPC contractors and industrial developers, and collaborate with internal design teams and equipment

Responsibilities

• Technical Solution Sales & Account Management: Identify corporate customer requirements, conduct technical site surveys, and present custom-engineered equipment, utility, and piping solutions to corporate clients and industrial developers.
• Proposal & Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed technical proposals, commercial quotations, cost estimates, and system design specifications for prospective engineering and machinery installation projects.
• Project Coordination & Oversight: Serve as the central point of coordination between clients, internal engineering departments, equipment suppliers, and field installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery from contract signing to final commissioning.
• Technical Consultation: Provide specialized engineering advisory services to clients regarding gas equipment, energy efficiency optimization, regulatory compliance, and system safety upgrades.
• Market Development & Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry decision-makers, consultants, and contractors to identify upcoming industrial plant construction and equipment modernization opportunities across Malaysia.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional engineering teams to support equipment sourcing, system design verification, and post-installation technical service delivery.
