Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Technical Safety Specialist to conduct comprehensive safety assessments, risk analyses, and studies (HAZOP, QRA, fire & explosion) for oil & gas projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify hazards and implement safety measures across the project lifecycle. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Safety, Chemical, Mechanical) with NEBOSH/IOSH certifications preferred and at least 8 years in technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Safety, Chemical, Mechanical) required.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certifications preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in technical safety in oil & gas, E&P environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety studies (HAZOP, QRA, fire & explosion analyses) and risk assessments.
• Provide coaching for junior engineers and support project execution.
• Maintain familiarity with API, ASME, ISO safety standards and regulatory requirements.
