Job summary

Businesslist in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts in line with policy and legal standards. You will advise on commercial and contractual matters within the Technology & Telecoms sector and identify risks to elevate to management when necessary.

The role requires a law degree and at least 6 years PQE with proven expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and management, plus knowledge of technology regulations.

Qualifications

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in line with policy and legal standards.
• Provide legal guidance on commercial and contractual matters in Technology & Telecoms.
• Identify legal and commercial risks and escalate to management when needed.
• Ensure contracts align with business objectives and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth contract execution and management.
• Monitor performance and address compliance or dispute issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and amendments.
• Assist in developing best practices for contract management processes.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes in Technology & Telecoms.
