Job summary

Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad seeks a senior tax professional to oversee corporate tax compliance, reporting, and transfer pricing governance. This role collaborates with Finance and business units to ensure accurate tax positions and timely submissions.

You will monitor Malaysian tax legislation, oversee e-Invoice data quality controls, and provide guidance on tax implications of contracts and transactions, while maintaining robust internal controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8+ years of professional tax experience.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Bank's corporate income tax compliance and reporting.
• Review tax computations, tax returns, estimates and statutory submissions.
• Coordinate with external tax agents for transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
• Ensure SST, withholding tax and other indirect tax matters are properly applied.
• Establish tax policies, procedures, and internal controls; support financial statements.
