Syarikat Ong Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Tax Advisory to lead tax advisory assignments across transactions, investments, incentives, and new ventures.

You will develop practical tax solutions, conduct impact assessments, monitor tax developments, and advise on transfer pricing and indirect tax matters while guiding junior staff and engaging clients with strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Experience handling tax advisory assignments for business transactions and investments.
• Ability to assess tax implications of mergers, restructurings and cross-border deals.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing, local and international tax developments.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax advisory assignments involving transactions, investments, incentives, and new ventures.
• Provide practical tax solutions for inbound and outbound investments and restructurings.
• Conduct tax impact assessments and recommend planning strategies.
• Analyse tax developments and advise on implications and actions.
• Develop tax strategies to optimise positions and manage risks.
• Advise on tax implications relating to M&A and cross-border transactions.
• Handle tax audits and investigations with authorities and prepare responses.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and prepare advisory reports.
• Provide transfer pricing documentation and advisory services.
• Coach junior team members and review their work.
• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for advisory services.
