Job summary

Cohu Malaysia is seeking a Systems Integration Senior Engineer to act as a systems-level expert within the engineering team. The role involves supporting new product development, defining system-level requirements, and owning lab test benches and DAQ equipment in the engineering lab.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on lab experience with test benches, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering groups to resolve field and factory issues.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in systems integration, new product development, or test/inspection equipment engineering for automation or semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering development to support new product development and design activities.
• Define system-level requirements and specifications from technical requests.
• Define verification test plans and review verification test reports.
• Own day-to-day equipment care and maintenance in the engineering lab.
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to lab equipment users.
• Drive technical direction for new development and prototype deployment.
