Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN MINDE GROUP SDN. BHD. in Johor, Malaysia, seeks a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to steer end-to-end supply chain functions for an EMS manufacturing operation.

You will lead sourcing, procurement, planning, inventory and logistics with a focus on cost efficiency and continuous improvement. The role reports to senior management and involves cross-functional collaboration with Production, Sales and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in SCM, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven management experience across supply chain, sourcing, procurement, planning and/or logistics within manufacturing.
• EMS/electronics manufacturing experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with customer demand and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead sourcing, procurement, material and production planning, inventory and logistics activities.
• Forecast material requirements and ensure sufficient component availability while optimizing inventory.
• Develop sourcing strategies and identify alternative suppliers to improve cost, availability and supply continuity.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quality, lead time, capacity and commercial terms.
• Monitor component markets and proactively manage shortages, supply disruptions and material risks.
• Work closely with Production to align material readiness, capacity and production schedules with customer demand.
• Oversee logistics, distribution and customs-related activities.
• Drive cost reduction, inventory optimization and supply chain continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs including delivery, inventory turns, fulfilment and supplier performance.
• Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies for critical materials and suppliers.
• Lead, develop and manage the supply chain team with clear departmental objectives and performance targets.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, Finance and other functions to ensure supply chain readiness.
