Job summary

TOA Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, seeks a Senior Supply Chain Executive to lead procurement, order processing and inventory management in the Logistics division.

This full-time role focuses on optimising operations and strategic sourcing to enhance efficiency and cost savings. You will drive procurement activities, manage supplier relations, monitor stock, and collaborate with sales to forecast demand.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement or inventory management.
• Proven vendor management, contract negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and ERP/SCM systems.
• Analytical, with ability to identify trends and make strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise costs, quality and delivery.
• Oversee sales order processes and ensure policy compliance to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and balance supply with working capital needs.
• Analyse KPIs to identify opportunities for improvements and cost reductions.
• Collaborate with sales to forecast demand and plan procurement.
• Lead procurement and supply chain team members and provide development guidance.
• Monitor imports to ensure compliance with local regulations and schedules.
• Maintain supply chain systems and processes to enhance efficiency and traceability.
• Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Executive to join TOA Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role within our Logistics division, specifically within Procurement, Order Processing, Shipment & Inventory management. As Senior Supply Chain Executive, you will be responsible for optimising our supply chain operations, managing procurement activities, and ensuring efficient order processing, inventory control across our business. This role is integral to maintaining our competitive advantage and supporting the company's growth objectives through effective supply chain management and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimise costs, quality, and delivery performance

Oversee sales order processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and meet customer requirement

Monitor and control inventory levels to balance supply availability with operational needs and working capital efficiency

Analyse supply chain data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction

Collaborate with sales teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities

Lead and supervise procurement and supply chain team members, providing guidance and professional development

Monitor and control import shipment to ensure shipment receive comply to local import regulations meet import planning schedule

Implement and maintain supply chain systems and processes to enhance efficiency and traceability

Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity

Prepare reports and present findings to senior management on supply chain performance and strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, or inventory management within the manufacturing or logistics sector

Proven expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship development

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control systems, and supply chain best practices

Experience with supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations

Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments

Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop team members

Knowledge of quality management principles and familiarity with SIRIM & custom standards is advantageous

Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry is highly desirable
