Job summary

Requires 10+ years in supplier quality, strong semiconductor packaging knowledge, SMT experience, and proficiency with FMEA, SPC, MSA and ISO/IATF/VDA tools. Excellent communication and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in supplier quality management and excursions handling.
• Strong knowledge of advanced semiconductor packaging (MCM, WLP packages).
• Experience with SMT, passive components, embedded substrates processes.
• Proven PCB assembly experience, SMT focused.
• Hands-on with structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3 and related audit methods.
• Certified/qualified auditor for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3.
• Proficient English speaking, writing and listening.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between regional suppliers and Renesas to align on quality.
• Manage quality excursions and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support process/material changes, site certification and audits.
• Collaborate with component suppliers to ensure quality standards for power modules.
• Support PCB assembly processes, SMT and related manufacturing techniques.
• Identify quality trends and lead projects for continuous improvement.
• Drive best-practice initiatives and share lessons learned in supplier quality.
• Motivate, focus, and communicate effectively with internal teams.
