Job summary

Nexperia is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to develop and maintain the SQM governance framework, drive audits, and improve supplier quality across BE BOM suppliers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3, and lead supplier development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in supplier quality management or supplier quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience in supplier audits, quality system assessments, and supplier development.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3.
• Certification in VDA 6.3 is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to quality issues.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier development initiatives to improve process capability and quality maturity.
