Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Senior Supplier Engineer to lead supplier qualifications, develop manufacturing processes, and drive supplier performance for critical production components. You will ensure quality, delivery, cost, and compliance while building robust processes that support growth and continuity.

Based near Penang, Malaysia, the role starts as a work-from-home position with potential to move to an onsite Penang manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, supplier process engineering, design, or a related field.
• Ability to influence suppliers and lead cross-functional teams in resolving complex technical and process issues.
• Working knowledge of pFMEA, process validation, inspection methods, and test techniques.
• Experience using Word and Excel, as well as PLM (preferably Agile) and ERP systems (preferably SAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification activities for new and existing components.
• Provide manufacturing and supplier quality support to assess and prioritize component issues and drive corrective actions.
• Lead manufacturing process selection and optimization, balancing quality, capacity, and lifecycle cost.
