Job summary

TIME dotCom Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Senior Subsea Engineer to co-manage submarine cable investments, drive technical and financial value, and serve as relationship manager for consortiums and projects. You will work with finance, regulatory, legal, and operations to ensure timely deliverables and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years in a subsea or international network environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating with multiple partners across time zones is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage regular and ad-hoc reports for cable consortiums/projects and on-site support.
• Oversee operation & maintenance of subsea systems with other teams.
• Ensure billing milestones and invoice payments comply with processes.
• Plan and implement technical/operational requirements at cable stations.
• Review budgets and manage approved expenditures; ensure timely payments.
• Review contracts/agreements with clear communication to stakeholders.
• Optimize costs through internal initiatives and cross-team collaboration.
• Support proposal development for new/upgraded submarine cable projects.
• Assist Sales in formulating network solutions for customers.
• Engage with Finance, Regulatory, Legal, and Corporate Office Affairs as needed.
