Qualificações

• 10-15 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in aerospace/composites.
• Strong knowledge of CFRP, GFRP and FRP materials.
• Experience with metals and advanced composites for structural design.
• Familiarity with building codes and design standards.
• Experience reviewing designs and production requirements.
• Mentoring or guiding junior engineers.

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with strong experience in structural design and analysis, particularly in aerospace and composite materials. The role involves leading structural engineering projects, performing analysis and calculations, supporting testing, and providing technical guidance to engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

Lead structural design and analysis activities from concept to completion

Perform structural calculations and analysis for complex systems

Support development of engineering plans, specifications and test protocols

Work with R&D, production and testing teams

Provide technical support to structural authorities

Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement

About you

10-15 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in aerospace/composites

Strong experience with CFRP, GFRP and FRP materials

Experience in structural design using metals and advanced composite materials

Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles and engineering standards

Hands-on experience with SAP2000, ETABS or similar structural analysis tools

Good knowledge of CATIA or other CAD software

Ability to perform structural calculations, hand calculations and spreadsheet-based analysis

Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and structural design standards

Experience preparing/supporting test protocols and structural testing

Ability to review and challenge structural designs and production requirements

Ability to work with cross-functional engineering and R&D teams

Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers

BSc/MS in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
