Job summary

Vantris Energy Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with offshore project experience to lead structural analyses and commissioning activities. You will interpret drawings, prepare cutting plans, and support field teams during Hook-Up and Commissioning.

The role requires a recognised engineering degree, a professional engineer license (BEM), and at least 8 years in Oil & Gas, with strong background in offshore lifting analyses and project execution.

Qualifications

• Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (BEM) registration or equivalent.
• Relevant offshore experience and commissioning exposure.

Responsibilities

• Establish soft mooring parameters, verify gangway procedures, and perform structural analyses.
• Prepare job cards and work packs for project execution.
• Carry out fieldwork and provide support during Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) activities.

Requirements

• Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Skills & Experience

• Registered as a Professional Engineer with BEM or an equivalent internationally recognized professional institution.
• Proficient in interpreting structural drawings and preparing structural cutting plans.
• Experienced in performing engineering calculations and verifications, including lifting analyses for offshore lifts.
• Relevant engineering and commissioning experience, particularly in offshore projects.
