Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide end-to-end compliance support for its Malaysia entities, owning statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance activities. You will work closely with external auditors, tax experts, and authorities to ensure timely, accurate filings and strong regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required.
• Professional qualification such as CPA/ACCA/CA/MIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and disclosures per US GAAP, local GAAP, and statutory rules.
• Coordinate end-to-end statutory audit, including planning, schedules, auditor queries, and timely completion.
• Coordinate local tax compliance including corporate income tax, withholding tax, stamp duty, and regulatory filings.
• Prepare and reconcile schedules to ensure consistency between statutory FS and tax filings.
• Act as main contact for external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities (IRB).
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on tax return prep, tax computations, and audit support.
• Support non-routine compliance matters such as tax audits and IRB reviews.
• Work with Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and SSC teams to resolve compliance issues.
• Identify process gaps and control weaknesses; suggest improvements for audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation for statutory and tax deliverables.
