Job summary

Celestica is seeking a high-caliber Senior Staff System Engineer to lead architecture, integration, and lifecycle management of complex systems. The role spans electronic, mechanical, and software domains, driving end-to-end system definition from concept to production.

In this senior technical leadership position, you will manage cross-functional teams across HealthTech, Aerospace & Defense, Power, Industrial, and Semiconductor equipment markets, delivering reliable, regulated system solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• 11 to 14 years of direct engineering experience embedded within multi-disciplinary product development lifecycles.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; ability to work in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust multi-domain system solutions.
• Define and architect the overall system solution and coordinate across engineering teams.
• Drive rigorous system-level risk management, DFMEA, and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a global team of engineers.
• Coordinate testing, simulation, and evaluation to validate system performance.
