Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineers in daily operations to ensure quality control and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics (yield, defect rates, Cp/Cpk, reliability) and drive improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional issue resolution with Process, Equipment, and Operations teams and lead root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Handle customer quality requirements, audits, documentation control, and technical discussions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer-specific quality standards and implement best practices.

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that products and manufacturing processes meet required quality standards. This role involves leading quality engineers, managing customer quality issues and quality risks for manufacturing, product changes, and new product introductions. Developing quality competencies and driving continuous improvement to enhance product reliability and manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting Quality Engineers in daily operations to ensure effective quality control, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
• Establish, monitor, and drive improvement of critical product and process quality metrics (yield, defect rates, Cp/Cpk, and reliability).
• Drive cross-functional issue resolution with Process, Equipment, and Operations teams, leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Initiate activities on customer quality requirements, including audits, documentation control, and technical discussions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry and customer quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, customer-specific requirements) and continuously improve quality processes, lessons learned, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Master in Engineering or Science
• Management and technical experiences in quality, process, or engineering within semiconductor industry.
• Formal quality-related training or certification:
  • ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3
  • Core Tools (APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC)
  • Quality tools and Statistical Analysis
