Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer in Product Engineering to drive performance, yield, and reliability from product introduction through high-volume manufacturing. You will lead cross-functional teams on product characterization, quality improvements, and production ramp-ups.

The role requires knowledge in Front-End Wafer Fabrication and Semiconductor Device Physics with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor industry as a FE Process Integration Engineer or Product Engineer.
• Knowledge of Front-End Wafer Fabrication and Semiconductor Device Physics (PN Diodes, MOSFETs, etc.).
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset and strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive product performance, yield, quality, and reliability from introduction to high-volume manufacturing.
• Lead risk assessment, quality improvement, and product disposition activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional troubleshooting for product-related excursions and deviations.
• Manage new product releases, technology transfers, and production ramp-up.
