KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Sonographer to perform high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound across abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, breast and vascular studies, while supervising juniors and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires advanced Ultrasound expertise, independent clinical judgement, and the ability to plan workflows to reduce wait times. You will educate patients, document procedures, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Imaging or equivalent with Advance Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography.
• Registered under Act 304 and Allied Health Professions Act 774.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of diagnostic ultrasound exams per protocols and requests.
• Produce, label and forward images to radiologists for reporting.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure comfort and privacy.
• Identify urgent findings and escalate to radiologist.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure strict infection prevention across ultrasound rooms and probes.
• Plan workflow to improve patient flow and reduce waiting time.
• Document and charge procedures accurately.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise sonographers; support complex cases.
