Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Sonographer to perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound examinations across abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, breast, and more. The role includes image production, patient education, and close collaboration with radiologists to ensure timely reporting.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Medical Imaging with advanced ultrasonography training, be registered under the applicable health acts, and have at least 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Imaging or equivalent with Advanced Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography.
• Registered under relevant health act and allied health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations per protocols.
• Produce and forward images to radiologists for reporting.
• Educate patients and ensure comfort and privacy during procedures.
• Identify urgent findings and escalate to radiologist.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; ensure infection control.
