DXC Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to direct a team of engineers in delivering robust software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to define requirements, guide architecture, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will mentor engineers, conduct performance reviews, and align engineering initiatives with business goals while championing agile practices and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience overseeing teams and/or projects.
• Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver software solutions.
• Define project requirements with cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide mentorship and performance assessments for team members.
• Contribute to the software engineering strategy aligning technology with business goals.
• Lead agile processes: sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to ensure high-quality code and design.
• Monitor progress and address issues impacting timelines.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
