Grab is seeking a skilled Software Engineer for the Insurance Operations team in Malaysia. You will report to the Engineering Manager and build internal tools, dashboards, and applications across frontend and backend stacks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Frontend stack knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.
• Backend programming: Java/Go/Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Git.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Knowledge of clean architecture and SOLID principles.

Get to Know the Role

You will report to the Engineering Manager, Insurance Operations, based in Malaysia and develop internal tools, reporting dashboards, and operational applications. You will work across the stack, building both frontend and backend components. We're looking for candidates that embody ownership, display a hunger for learning and improvement, and excel in autonomy.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
