Job summary

UST Malaysia is seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, test, and implement business applications and decision-support tools for supply chain operations.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Technical Lead in an Agile/Scrum team, reviewing current designs, defining future-state solutions, and delivering high-quality software features across backend and frontend components.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and relational database design.
• Experience with OOP and design patterns.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications in Agile/Scrum.
• Backend and frontend development experience.

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, test, and implement business applications and decision-support tools supporting supply chain operations.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Technical Lead to review current-state designs, define future-state solutions, and deliver high-quality software features. As part of an Agile/Scrum team, the developer will participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Review current application architecture, designs, and code.
• Collaborate with the Technical Lead to define and document future-state technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement application features.
• Develop and maintain both backend and frontend application components.
• Design, develop, and optimize database components.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, technical leads, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the SDLC.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as required.

Required Qualifications

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on software developer with strong expertise in C#, .NET, T-SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, combined with solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, MVC, and relational database design.

The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering quality business applications and be comfortable working collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment. Supply Chain experience is highly desirable
