AirAsia Berhad is seeking a talented software engineer to architect, develop, and test web and backend services using JavaScript, Python, and .NET. You will build high-performance mobile apps with Flutter and React Native, and optimize data models in SQL/NoSQL.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript, Python, and .NET.
• Hands-on Flutter and React Native experience.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Firestore).
• Experience with GCP, Git, Jira and DevOps practices.
• Ability to design scalable, secure web and mobile apps.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION

Architect, develop, and test web and backend services using JavaScript, Python, and .NET. Build and maintain high-performance cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and React Native. Design and optimize data models using SQL and NoSQL databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira, Git, and continuous deployment pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex software issues across backend and mobile platforms. Maintain thorough technical documentation for system architecture, codebases, and deployment processes. Deliver features independently while adhering to enterprise security and reliability standards.

WHO YOU ARE

• Core Languages: Proficient in JavaScript, Python, and .NET.
• Mobile Development: Hands‑on experience building mobile apps with Flutter and React Native.
• Databases: Solid understanding of both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Firestore) systems.
• Cloud & Tools: Practical experience with GCP, Git version control, Jira, and core DevOps practices.
• Architecture: Proven experience building scalable, secure, and resilient web and mobile applications.
• Problem‑Solving: Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Soft Skills: Highly autonomous, self‑motivated, and able to adapt quickly to evolving priorities in a high‑speed environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with low‑code automation platforms (e.g., UiPath).
• Familiarity with WordPress site management and custom development.
