Job summary

Jabil, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing solutions, seeks an MES IT Manager in Malaysia to lead MES software engineers and drive engineering excellence. You will own the MES development operating model, embed AI across the SDLC, and enforce TDD as the default quality strategy to deliver production-ready software aligned with manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS or Software Engineering or related field.
8+ years in enterprise software development with people leadership.
Proven experience managing MES or mission-critical manufacturing systems.
Proven success implementing TDD in production environments.
Experience scaling modern engineering practices across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Lead MES software engineers delivering core manufacturing execution capabilities.
Align MES development lifecycle from requirements through design, test, release and sustainment.
Enforce TDD as default development approach across MES features and services.
Ensure MES code is covered by unit tests, automated regression, and CI quality gates.
Mentor engineers and drive AI literacy within MES teams.
