Job summary

CBRE Penang invites applications for a Soft Services Manager to lead the delivery of Soft Services and Workplace Experience at the Batu Kawan site. You will oversee Concierge, Reception, meeting & event management, food and pantry services, and related admin support.

Working with Facilities, Engineering, EHS, HR and procurement, you will drive service quality, vendor governance and RBA compliance, ensuring safe, welcoming and productive workplaces for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience in Workplace Experience or Facilities Management.
• Experience managing Soft Services and Workplace Experience operations in corporate or regulated environments.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, SLAs, KPIs, compliance documentation.
• Exposure to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and audit readiness.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate vendor documentation and support audit activities.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day Soft Services and Workplace Experience delivery safely and to agreed service levels.
• Manage escalations from employee or end-user feedback with timely resolutions.
• Perform regular site audits and reviews to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Coordinate daily team activities, scheduling, mentoring and coaching.
• Provide supervision, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee work orders, vendor assignments and service delivery tracking.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in service quality.
• Support budgeting, procurement, invoices, and reporting to clients.
• Ensure safety standards, SOPs and governance controls are maintained.
