Job summary

SK REKA BINA SDN BHD is seeking a Senior Site Supervisor who will bridge project managers and on-site fieldwork. You will direct subcontractor trades and direct labor teams, ensuring daily targets are met and work aligns with blueprints and quality standards.

You will monitor progress against the project schedule, conduct routine inspections of structural, architectural, and MEP works, and uphold strict safety through toolbox talks and PPE enforcement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors on active construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of blueprints, engineering specs, and local building codes.
• Proven ability to enforce safety protocols and lead toolbox talks on site.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of multi-disciplinary subcontractors and direct labor teams, ensuring daily targets are clear.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and flag delays to the Project Manager with corrective actions.
• Conduct routine structural, architectural, and MEP inspections to ensure workmanship meets specs and codes.
• Lead safety on site with toolbox talks, PPE enforcement, and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment to minimize waste or loss.
• Maintain detailed daily site logs tracking attendance, weather, machinery use, and delays.

A Senior Site Supervisor plays a critical role in executing construction projects by bridging the gap between project managers and day-to-day on-site fieldwork. They are responsible for directing subcontractor trades, enforcing strict safety protocols, and ensuring work aligns perfectly with blueprints and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

Direct day-to-day operations of multi-disciplinary subcontractors and direct labor teams, ensuring everyone is clear on their daily targets

Monitor daily progress against the project schedule, proactively flagging potential delays to the Project Manager and implementing corrective field actions

Conduct routine structural, architectural, and structural/MEP inspections to ensure all workmanship meets blueprints, engineering specifications, and local building codes

Serve as the frontline champion for health and safety, conducting daily tool-box talks, enforcing PPE compliance, and ensuring the site meets rigorous safety regulations

Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and heavy equipment on-site to minimize waste, damage, or theft

Maintain detailed daily site logs, tracking labor attendance, weather conditions, machinery usage, and any incidents or delays
