Maybank is seeking an experienced SIEM Architect to lead the overall architecture, engineering roadmap, and continuous improvement of the enterprise SIEM platform. You will define engineering standards, governance, and operating models across the organization, acting as the primary technical authority for SIEM matters.

The role requires 8+ years in security engineering or SIEM at scale, with strong collaboration across SOC, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams

Formación

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, SIEM engineering, or large-scale security monitoring platforms (on-prem, cloud or hybrid).
• Proven experience supporting 24x7 SOC environments and high-volume log ingestion.
• Demonstrated ownership of SIEM architecture, performance tuning, and detection engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, build, and operate SIEM platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of SIEM infrastructure components.
• Drive capacity planning, tuning, and licensing optimization to ensure performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead onboarding of enterprise log sources including endpoints, networks, cloud, identity, and applications.
• Champion automation and IaC to standardize deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
