Job summary

Prudential Services Asia in Malaysia is seeking a Security Automation & Engineering professional to join the Group Information Security & Privacy team. The role focuses on maintaining the Splunk security monitoring platform, improving data quality, and enhancing detection capabilities to support the GSOC and local business units.

You will collaborate with security analysts, vendors, and IT stakeholders to optimize log ingestion, develop automation, and implement SOAR and related security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in security engineering or related field.
• Certifications in cybersecurity or Splunk are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain availability and performance of the Splunk security platform on a 24/7 basis.
• Monitor health of security platforms, data pipelines, and log ingestion processes.
• Develop and maintain monitoring alerts for log collection and correlation.
• Investigate platform issues and restore services within required SLAs.
• Identify data quality and configuration issues affecting threat detection.
