Job summary

Weichai Singapore Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Assistant Service Manager to oversee diesel generator systems for mission-critical data centers. You will lead service teams, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with customers, engineers, and partners to maximize uptime and reliability.

Key responsibilities include scheduling maintenance, ensuring compliance with OEM standards and SLAs, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Power Generation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in diesel generator systems and data-center critical power environments.
• Experience in maintenance planning, service operations, and supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, reliability, and availability of diesel generator systems.
• Develop and maintain preventive/corrective maintenance plans per OEM, regulatory, and SLA requirements.
• Plan scheduled maintenance, tests, and outages with customers and internal teams.
• Lead service teams, coordinate field engineers, subcontractors, and partners to ensure service excellence.
