Job summary

GenScript Biotech Corp. in Malaysia invites a Senior Scientist to lead AI and big data initiatives in bioinformatics. You will develop web-based or standalone tools for synthetic biology, protein and antibody engineering while crafting algorithms to solve customer challenges.

The role requires a PhD in bioinformatics or deep learning with 3+ years of model development, plus strong Python/Java/C++. Experience in NLP/LLMs and PyTorch/TensorFlow is preferred, with teamwork and proactive

Qualifications

• PhD in bioinformatics or deep learning with at least three years of model development experience.
• Knowledgeable in the field of molecular biology or protein.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/C++.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Preferable if the candidate has experience in NLP and large language models.
• Preferable if the candidate has experience in pre-trained language models and generative AI;Proactively participating in collaborative and innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for bioinformatics projects and develop web-based or standalone tools for synthetic biology, protein engineering and antibody engineering.
• Develop algorithms to assist customers in solving technical barriers.
• Data mining (including deep learning) and analysis on synthesis related data.
