Job summary

Job description

Lead the end-to-end integration, software development, network alignment, and level 2/2.5 support for automation and robotic systems in semiconductor manufacturing. Drive incident/problem management, system validation, and operational continuous improvement with on-call roster availability.

Key Responsibilities

System Integration & Automation: Integrate MCS, low-level controllers, dispatching, and stocker/AMR/OHV tools using SECS/GEM and REST protocols. Interface with vendors, ops, and engineering to maintain workflows and system documentation.

Software & Application Support: Design and maintain software (SQL/NoSQL databases, microservices) enabling Lights Out manufacturing. Maintain code documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.

Network & Infrastructure: Partner with IT to oversee network architecture (switches, wireless APs, firewalls, VLANs) for secure, high-performance automation connectivity.

Factory Incident & Problem Management: Provide L2/L2.5 escalation response, drive root cause analysis (RCA), implement preventive action plans, and track issues to resolution.

Validation, Training & On-Call: Create test plans (UAT/FAT), update validation records, and train engineers/operators. Work standard office hours with on-call rotation support for weekends and holidays.

Requirements & Profile

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related field.

Experience: 5+ years in semiconductor Lights Out automation, factory system architecture, and software development.

Technical Expertise:

Proven knowledge of MCS, AMR/OHV, Stockers, and VDA 5050 (advantageous).

Software: Java, Python, C#, Docker, Microservices, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).

Protocols & Networking: Deep SECS/GEM expertise; hands-on with switches, APs, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.

Core Competencies: Strong analytical, RCA, and documentation skills; excellent cross-functional communication; ability to work independently under factory pressure.
