Responsibilities

• Lead supervisory teams overseeing NBFIs and institutional investors to identify and mitigate prudential, governance, operational and market risks.
• Lead relationship management and supervision of assigned entities.
• Assess governance, risk management, financial resilience, investment activities and compliance frameworks.
• Review institutional risk profiles and recommend supervisory ratings.
• Plan and oversee focused and thematic reviews and supervisory engagements.
• Evaluate responses to supervisory findings and monitor remediation efforts.
• Recommend supervisory measures for deficiencies or elevated risks.
• Monitor emerging sectoral and institution-specific risks.
• Evaluate significant events such as governance issues, cyber incidents, disruptions and market events.
• Conduct forward-looking assessments of potential systemic implications.
• Contribute to development of supervisory methodologies, risk assessment frameworks and policies.
• Lead research and benchmarking on institutional investor and NBFI regulatory frameworks.
• Engage senior management and board representatives of supervised entities.
• Coordinate with internal SC departments and external regulatory agencies as required.
• Supervise and mentor managers and supervisory officers.
• Review outputs to ensure quality and consistency of supervisory assessments.
