Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Senior Research Analyst in Malaysia to join the Due Diligence team. You will conduct multilingual media and web research, verify information from official sources, and analyze findings for reputational and regulatory risks.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal partners, mentor junior staff, and manage complex client requests while adhering to tight timelines in a blended 3-day office/2-day remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in international relations, political science, legal studies or business management.
• Excellent command of English and Korean; extra Southeast Asian languages are a plus.
• Experience in compliance, due diligence, AML/KYC or third-party risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct media and Internet searches on companies and individuals in English and a second language.
• Search official sources (registrars, regulators, courts) for information gathering.
• Coordinate with external vendors and provide training to improve quality.
• Analyze information for reputational, financial and integrity risk (sanctions, corruption, money laundering, etc.).
• Assist in training and mentoring new hires; share methods for success with team.
• Handle sophisticated client requests and collaborate with report partners to meet client requirements.
• Work with cross-office teams within the RDD organization to ensure timely report delivery.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in international relations, political science, legal studies or business management

English and Korean language proficiency

Additional Southeast Asian languages (e.g. Bahasa Malaysia, Thai)

Compliance, due diligence, AML/KYC or third-party risk management experience
