Job summary

MAXIS Malaysia is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join the Corporate Affairs team, focusing on Consumer Regulatory Affairs. You will manage regulatory interfaces, develop policy positions, and engage with government bodies to uphold Maxis's regulatory stance.

The role requires 5–7 years in regulatory or legal functions within the telecom sector, with strong CMA98 knowledge and excellent stakeholder communication. Some travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field; 5–7 years regulatory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of CMA98, MCMC guidelines, and consumer protection laws.
• Proven policy development, regulatory advocacy, and stakeholder engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary regulatory interface for CMA98, Prepaid registration, MNP rules, MS QoS and enforcement management.
• Develop policy papers and recommendations on pivotal regulatory issues affecting consumers and content.
• Engage with government bodies (KK, KD, MCMC) and participate in projects, site visits, and campaigns.
