Job summary

Kerry is seeking a Regulatory Manager to oversee regulatory matters for foods across the APMEA region. This role reports to the Regulatory Manager and is based at Work Location 1Powerhouse, PJ.

You will ensure product and material compliance with Kerry policies and local regulations, while communicating regulatory updates to internal teams and customers. You will prepare regulatory documents, lead label development, and collaborate with RD&A, QA and Operations to review technical documentation

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in food industry in Regulatory, QA or RD&A, preferably with export exposure.
• Good cooperation/communication/presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead tasks and projects and work well in a team.
• Willingness to learn new systems and procedures.

• Serve as a regulatory resource to internal and external customers for regulatory matters.
• Ensure product and material compliance to local APMEA regulations and Kerry policies.
• Support internal/external stakeholders across the region with regulatory information.
• Prepare regulatory documents and country-specific label development.
• Liaise with RD&A, QA and Operations for documentation reviews.
• Manage emerging issues as the point of contact to internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of food regulations across the APMEA region.
• Interpret and communicate regulatory updates to stakeholders and customers.
• Perform any duties assigned from time to time.

About The Role

Reporting to Regulatory Manager

Work Location 1Powerhouse, PJ (5mins walk from MRT Bandar Utama)

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a regulatory resource to internal and external customers for regulatory matters.
• Ensure product and material compliance to local APMEA regulations and Kerry policies.
• Supports internal / external stakeholders across the region by providing regulatory technical information.
• Prepare regulatory documents and country-specific label development.
• Liaise with RD&A, QA and Operations counterparts for technical documentation reviews.
• Manage emerging issues (i.e. be the point of contact to internal stakeholders as required).
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of food regulations across APMEA region.
• Proactive interpretation and communication of regulatory updates, regulatory knowledge sharing with stakeholders and customers.
• To perform any duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications And Skills

• Degree holder in Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in food industry in Regulatory, QA or RD&A, preferably with export exposure.
• Possess good co-operation / communication / presentation and interpersonal skills
• Be able to carry out and lead assigned tasks/projects accordingly.
• Ability to perform in a team environment.
• Must have the ability to quickly learn new systems/procedures, know how to utilize available resources and be willing to learn.
