Job summary

L’Oréal in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Manager to ensure cosmetics and related regulatory compliance, substantiation of claims, and secure market access. You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage registrations for cosmetics, health supplements, and medical devices where relevant, and liaise with local authorities to defend brand integrity.

Bachelor’s degree required; 7–10 years of regulatory experience; strong communication and business acumen are

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of core regulatory experience in cosmetics, pharma, or FMCG
• Experience with health supplements and medical device registrations is a plus
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Provide expert regulatory analysis for cosmetics and related categories to ensure full compliance
• Assess and substantiate product claims for regulatory credibility and defend when needed
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance regulatory requirements with business goals
• Oversee registrations and compliance for adjacent categories such as health supplements and medical devices
• Assist in health-related complaint management and timely reporting per guidelines
